Learning Objectives: by the end of this course participants will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of the thinking strategies learnt and to apply different thinking strategies to their field of competence.
Participants will be provided with new tools which they can use to improve their own thinking and to develop their potential for creative thinking. Some of the key points that will be covered in this course include:
• Learning and using different thinking techniques which include, but are not limited to, SCAMPER, Lateral Thinking, DATT Tools, Random Word, SWOT and PEST analysis;
• Lateral Thinking in Practice;
• Use of various thinking techniques in situations involving decision making, communication and design – Practical Sessions.
The emphasis of this workshop is on the active participation of the participants who will be provided with opportunities to practice individually and in groups all the tools learnt.
The main aim of the course is giving a new creative way of thinking for young leaders through artistic activities starting from theater, then working on audiovisual production based on stop motion animation and at a later stage on musical actions.
A creative logic to tap young creatives through artistic activities performed by young leaders all over the Europe to improve concepts of EMPATHY, NETWORKING and COMMUNITY.
The morning sessions will consist of interactive lectures on the way to be creative thinker. Role play and team work will be the order of the day right through the whole course.
The afternoon sessions will be based on imparting knowledge and practical skills that will make it possible for young leader in the field of intercultural education to use theater and dance performance, produce and use audiovisuals and working on vocal and musical activities.
During the course participants will be producing a final product that use as example at post face-to-face period the participants will make at least one project within their organisation using the techniques and schemes learnt during the course.
Participants can choose to take part in one or more modules independently.
