SEEP at IADIS July 2011

 
SEEP has been presented at the IADIS e.Learning Interntional Conference in Rome on the 22nd July 2011.
 
After the presentation, a very fruitful debate took place through the questions coming from the session’s chairman and the attendees.

It represented another important occasion to verify how important is to provide new resources and tools to innovate the way of teaching science.

Europe needs scientists and SEEP can be a little first step towards a “New Science Teacher”, whose teaching methods and activities need to be redefined in consideration of the net generation’s living and learning styles and in order to make science more attractive.

 

 

Scientix Conference 2011

6th - 8th May 2011 Bruxelles, Belgium

SEEP has been presented on 7 MAY 2011 at the SCIENTIX International Conference in Brussels.
It represdented an important opprtunity ti introduce the SEEP Network to a vast and notable community for science education in Europe created to facilitate regular dissemination and sharing of know-how and best practices in science education across the European Union..
 
PLENARY SESSION
SEEP has been presneted during the Plenary session 2: EU projects for teachers. It was the 8th project in order of presentation. You can find the 3 minutes slideshow presentation at 24 3-minute trailers on what teachers can find in the exhibition stands
 
POSTER SESSION
 
The Seep Project participated also to the Poster session, thanks to the Poster “ DEFORESTRATION” made by Magdalena Grigoras, which got a great number of visits and votes.

Kocaeli, Turkey 16th - 18th May 2012

The event in Kocaeli, Turkey was organised by the İzmit Sabancı Anadolu Teknik ve Endüstri Meslek Lisesi.

It was hosted at the Science Centre of Kocaeli and it was a networking interactive event between students of Science, their teachers and career guidance professionals.

The programme was intended to widen the vision of students and their teachers about future applications of science and future career opportunities in the field of science.

Ramnicu Valcea, Romania 4th - 6th April 2012

The event in Ramnicu Valcea was organised by the Associatia Pro Educatie si Formare. It was hosted at the Colegiul National "Mircea cel Batran" and it was a networking interactive event between students of Science, their teachers and career guidance professionals.

The programme wass intended to widen the vision of students and their teachers about future applications of science and future career opportunities in the field of science.

Seville, Spain 10th - 12th May 2012

The event in Madrid was organised by the Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza a founder member of the SEEP Network.

It was hosted at the Fundación española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología and it was a networking interactive event between students of Science, their teachers and career guidance professionals.

The programme was intended to widen the vision of students and their teachers about future applications of science and future career opportunities in the field of science.
